The CARE Health Center in Namakkal, India
November, 2009 In August of 2009, Friends of Namakkal did a fundraising campaign. We did a small golf tournament in Lake Wabaunsee, KS and we sent out letters. Our focus was to help the children of Ponnusamy. Ponnusamy passed away and left his son and daughter orphans. We want to ensure that Murugan Gomathi are cared for. They each need $20 a month to clothe, feed and send them to school. They are able to stay in their new cinder block home that the Friends built for them. In November of 2009 the Knit for Peace group donated $150 to the Friends of Namakkal. That will go a long way in India.

YOU CAN DONATE: 1) to help the women of Namakkal receive quality health care, including education, instruction, examinations, and counseling. CURRENT NEED: A television, cart, and video system to show instructional videos about women's health issues. Your donations will go directly to the CARE Clinic in Namakkal, India. Dr. Sam Samuel will use the donations for whatever is needed to keep the clinic going and to take care of the patients. He will keep us updated on what the money has been used for. Don't forget to pray for the HIV/AIDS positive people of Namakkal and the people who provide care for them
